An easy Breakfast Frittata that is perfect for weekends and everyday brunch! It’s easy to make and packed with all of your favorite breakfast ingredients.
What is a Frittata ?
How many of us don't know what a Frittata is ? I used to be that person. I could honestly say, I didn't but most of us have been making it for years. My husband calls it a breakfast pizza so I ran with it.
Not to long after I posted my first Frittata picture on Instagram, I found the real name of it, so there it was. A huge pan of eggs, bacon, sausage, spinach and all your other favroite meats and veggies. I add a tons of stuff to my Breakfast Frittata thats why its my husbands favorite.
How to Prepare Breakfast Frittata?
- Whisk the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper, and set aside.
- Cook bacon and set aside, then add onions to the same pan and cook until translucent, bell pepper, mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach.
- Next, add the bacon back into the pan. Blend together, eggs and cheese
- Give it a good stir, then bake for 10 minutes 18 minutes.
- Top off with green onions, if desired, and enjoy!
Casseroles vs Egg Muffins
Egg muffins is a winner for me. I feel like a casserole is not too far from a Frittata. These egg muffins are so cute, just as delicious and easy to store in the frezzer. You can easily make this dish into small egg muffins by watching my Keto Egg Muffins video here.
RECIPE TIPS !
- Colorful: To keep the frittata looking colorful and fresh stay away from black pepper, white pepper is fine.
- Large Portions: Its okay to make in large batches, just freeze the left overs.
- Allow the frittata to cool put it in a frezzer ziplock bag.
- Frezze: Frittatas and egg casseroles last for 2 - 3 months in the freezer. Allow for thawing time when you're ready to enjoy your casserole, or frittata.
