Caramel Apple Matcha (With Spiced Apple Purée & Sweet Cold Foam)

Ingredients
  

  • 3 teaspoons matcha
  • ½ cup water
  • 1-2 tablespoons agave
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 3 tablespoons spiced apple pure (check blog post for recipe)
  • sweet cold foam non dairy
  • caramel sauce for garnish

Spiced Apple Pure

  • red apples
  • water
  • brown sugar
  • cinnamon sticks
  • star anise
  • whole ginger
  • vanilla bourbon
  • orange slice
  • salt

Sweet Cold Foam

  • almond
  • coconut whip frozen
  • bourbon vanilla bean paste

Instructions
 

  • Start by making the matcha. Whisk the matcha with hot (not boiling) water and agave until smooth and frothy. Set it aside.
  • Before assembling the drink, make the spiced apple purée and allow it to cool completely.
  • To assemble, add caramel sauce and apple purée to the bottom of your cup. Pour in the almond milk and gently stir to combine.
  • Slowly pour the prepared matcha over the almond milk layer. Finish with sweet cold foam on top and drizzle with more caramel if desired.
