Start by seasoning the shrimp. Add in your old bay, paprika, cayenne pepper, soy sauce, salt and ground pepper. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2 ½ hours. If rushed for time 30 minutes will do.
In a medium-sized skillet over medium high heat. Add the olive oil to the pan following the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes on one side.
Next, add cubed unsalted butter and minced garlic. Flip the shrimp over cooking it on the other side and allow the butter to reduce and cook the shrimp for another 2 minutes.
Now add the lemon juice, light salt and pepper. Toss and cook in the sauce until the shrimp is opaque – no longer transparent.
