Cajun Butter Shrimp

A quick and easy Cajun Butter Shrimp recipe that requires only a few basic ingredients, done in 15 minutes. This straight-forward delicious shrimp made in the most amazing cajun garlic butter saucerecipe will become a staple in your household!

  • 1 lb shrimp large
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp old bay
  • 1 tsp cayenne
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 lemon juice


  • Start by seasoning the shrimp. Add in your old bay, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and ground pepper. Marinate in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours.
  • In a medium-sized skillet over medium high heat add the butter. Add the shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes then add cubed unsalted butter and minced garlic. Let reduce until the butter is melted about 2 minutes.
  • Salt and pepper the shrimp and add to the sauce. Toss and cook in the sauce until the shrimp is opaque – no longer transparent.
  • Garnish with parsley and enjoy !
