1cupall purpose flourprevious to frying, you’ll need it to cover the chicken wings completely
1cuplouisanna chicken flourthis flour is already seasoned and can be found at your local grocery store
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoonpaprika
Raspberry Jalapeno Sauce
8ouncesraspberry jalapeño sauce
2tablespoonsunsalted butter
2tablespoonswater
Instructions
Grab a medium bowl and put all your chicken wings. Add your chicken seasoning and mix with your hands, ensuring the spices are distributed uniformly and every chicken piece is covered. Then, add your mustard and repeat the same process mentioned. This will act as a “glue” for the flour before frying it.
Once you have all your pieces covered in seasoning and mustard, pass each one through flour, shaking off the excess. After this, place the wings on a plate before frying.
Heat up oil in a saucepan until it reaches 350F. Once it reaches its maximum point, start dropping your chicken wings. Wait 4-5 minutes and flip them for about 5 more minutes. Take them off the saucepan and place them on paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
Put your chicken wings in a bowl and add the raspberry jalapeño sauce, mixing and covering every piece.
Raspberry Jalapeno Sauce
Simply add the raspberry jalapeño sauce to a saucepan and start stirring, then add butter and keep cooking for a few minutes. Finally, add the water and continue stirring until you’ve achieved a thick consistency (similar to barbeque sauce).
